Description
Summary:Objective: To classify nursing interventions for HIV positive pregnantwomen according to CIPE® beta 2 version. Methods: 123 medicalrecords of pregnant women registered at the MultidisciplinaryCenter for Infectious Diseases in Pregnancy of the UniversidadeFederal de São Paulo, independently of the gestational period atthe beginning of prenatal care or the outcome of labour (normal, cesarean or abortion), as long as these records were completed.Nurses’s actions in this universe were analysed. Results: 2997nursing interventions were performed according to the data of the123 records. The interventions were registered in handwriting andan informal language predominated. Only the A axis (type andaction) was selected for the study. Conclusions: The register ofnursing care allowed its identification and classification and theuse of CIPE® showed advantages for the use of this taxonomy inspecialized services.
