| Summary: | In order to specify the general formulations of T. T. about social and economic actors, we will discusse in this paper a number of legal and normative proposals of John Locke. The reading of the propousal of a new poor law (<em>Draft</em>) and the deregulation of interest rates (SC, as well as other shorter writings), allow us understand Locke’s articulation between, on the one hand, letting agents do business and protecting the trade balance, and on the other hand, the disciplining and regulation of workers. |
