Using the case of the main urban mobility intervention in Niterói, the TransOceânica Road Corridor (CVT), this work aims to identify the perception of the population affected by the project in relation to the occurrence of the impacts predicted in the project planning phase, as well as to identify which of these impacts most influenced the standard of living and mobility of this population. The survey results showed that the respondents’ perception of the impacts—as the change of air quality, the change of noise levels, the alteration of the local dynamics and neighborhood disturbance—did not confirm the scenario envisaged when planning the project.https://www.mdpi.com/2071-1050/12/15/6052mobilityenvironmental impactenvironmental feasibility studyurban traffic
