For fifty years, the Amerindians communities in French Guyana profoundly evolved under the effects of the socio-cultural transfers (mutations) engaged by the French State to finish the territorialisation of this peripherical space. This progressive adequacy to new standards operates through vectors of the state apparatus within the populations. In particular, today, young actual leaders are bosses of the political device in the local administrative level. It allows the evolution of the territorial and land-use representations of the community’s area. This one was traditionally characterized by the absence of appropriation of the ground and a moderate use of the resource.
