Summary:This article aims to proceed a more sociological than literary reading of some aspects of nationalism in Oswald de Andrade, focusing predominantly the Manifesto da Poesia Pau-Brasiland the Manifesto Antropófago. Departing from the perspective of the relationship between literary field and political field, according to Pierre Bourdie's formulations, we try to signalthe conditions, literarily translated, that acted upon Oswald de Andrade's vision of the Brazilian social world.
