Summary:In today’s economic conditions the issues of human resource management through the use of competence-oriented approach, characterized by the formation of different approaches to classification of competencies in management are of great importance.The article identifies the key attributes of classification skills in management and the sequence of steps for the analysis and evaluation of the level of managerial skills of staff in order to create economic management tools for monitoring industrial competitiveness.The purpose of this article is to develop and study methodological tools for monitoring and evaluation of management skills of personnel of industrial enterprises in the formation mechanism of the organizational and economic support for their competitiveness.The value of the method proposed by the authors in terms of measuring personnel management skills is to identify the characteristics of competence-oriented approach in the management of the process to ensure the competitiveness of enterprises. Its practical application will provide the control system of industrial enterprises with complex methodological tools and mechanisms to develop scientific methods and principles applied to monitor their competitiveness and improve the organizational and economic support mechanism.
