New technologies have intruded in all sciences and in the sectors of human activity and become technological need in the science of sports and in the physical education as a method of teaching. Computers provide the access to information whenever we want it, and it can use simultaneously a lot of systems as: text, video, picture, sound and 3D. Using new technologies by professors or coaches brings co-ordination of all multimedia helping the pupil, student or athlete to fi nd out new knowledge. Apart from this, new technologies do not only become useful in the physical education and sports in the process of learning but also in the process of measurement, recording and exploitation of data of physical activity (training). It has been approved that learning to use new technologies is as effective as the traditional teaching of kinetic skills. Therefore using computers can be useful in the fi eld of physical education in schools and in the process of athlete’s training.
