| Summary: | The new type of Coronavirus disease-19 (COVID-19) spreads rapidly as a global epidemic and affects health, economic and social systems. Increasing the number of patients in COVID-19 hospitals negatively affects the health system by causing insufficient materials and health workers to be exposed to the risk of infection. Ethical dilemmas regarding providing healthcare to all patients are more difficult due to uncertainties caused by the disease, change in social life, stress, emotional deterioration, having to work for a long time, insufficient intensive care conditions and mechanical ventilation during the pandemic period. In this process, new and creative approaches are needed in the health system to effectively meet the health needs of individuals. Telemedicine applications, mobile applications, web-based applications and psychological support applications are among these approaches. In this paper, a new type of COVID-19 pandemic in the world and Turkey was referred to the process of innovation in the health care system. |
