Description
Summary:This work approaches the crisis generated by the collapse of the viaduct 1 of the highway Caracas-La Guaira in January 6 2006, from a methodological multiple perspective, across which they could appreciate not only the variables brought together in this conjuncture as copartners of the mentioned crisis, but also the historical process linked to the construction, use and abuse of this highway. Likewise, similar conjunctures will show themselves in the past of the Venezuelan society, mending the look up to the colonial model, inclusive. In this sense, will be able to be observed the permanent presence of two aspects re-meant in every historical-social context, but always associated with the development of terrestrial routes of communication: power interests and natural phenomena. This way, the work proposes to approach the critical history of the ways between Caracas and La Guaira, from the colonial routes up to the final conclusion of the highway, observing there the current clash of two models different from power (one in plenary session wear and other one in ascent) in struggle for the ideological and political conduction of the country.
