Indeed, shortly after Mai 68, the historical context of women movement speeds up the reflection in progress in each organization – the CFDT heads towards a strategy linking class struggle and sexuality while the MFPF tries to connect contraception and abortion issues with socio-economic inequalities. The transformations existing within both organizations (which spark off many controversies in the CFDT as well as in the MFPF) will enable the setting up of a partnership around the fight for the repeal of 1920 law. This partnership results, from 1974 on, in the setting up of common actions ("planning" commissions, internal formations in each organization) which appear as interesting attempts to connect feminist struggle and trade-union struggle and make the CFDT-MFPF partnership an original experience.http://journals.openedition.org/genrehistoire/297Syndicalisme |
