Summary: | Is the « Fantastic literature for the Young Adult » aimed only at this kind of readers ? Leaving apart those labels, reality shows that, for a wide range of reasons, such as the lexicon employed or the themes explored, some of those works are not specifically written for children, while others are actually read by the adults… Is it just a commercial classification, carried on by the editors because this literary genre sells well nowadays ? In order to clarify this question and to finally establish the specificity of these productions, this article offers a throrough revision of this epiphenomenon as well as of the standpoints of authors, editors, librarians and readers. |
