Summary:In this study, the peak of glow curve of powdered alumina appearing at 117C was isolated from others. In order to check of the suitability of the described procedure some experimental and numerical processes were applied. Trap parameters were determined by using additive dose, peak shape, initial rise and computerized glow curve deconvolution methods. The physical model was established by using interactive multi-trap model and differential equations were derived. The equation system was solved numerically by using experimental trap parameters. A good agreement appeared between the experimental and the numerical results. The results prove that the applied procedure has been successful
