Description
Summary:Raising labor productivity and employee performance are priorities for the development of Russian knowledge economy. The article offers the evaluation methodology of the internal environment maturity based on the six-factor maturity model developed by the author. The results of the research show the impact of maturity level on employee performance (revenue per employee). The evaluation of the maturity level of the internal environment governance is significant for the companies with prevailing or growing share of intellectual capital in the value added, namely in innovative and knowledge-intensive sectors, e.g. radio electronics. Each factor is evaluated on a 0–4 scale. The survey results show the impact of integral Maturity Index (score sum) on the employee performance. The results also establish that the level of Empowerment deliver the highest impact on performance. Given the low maturity level of this component, even the Open Door Corporate Culture and Communication Transparency being on the high level, the employee performance is low.
