Summary:This research entitled Historical Approach to psychological practice at the University of East during the pre-revolutionary  period (1947-1958), the objective, to assess the historical constitution of these practices. To do this, specifically, the practices were identified, described the regularities of them were characterized legitimate psychological objects from them. In the historical approach to psychological practice we noticed that they were brought so much to teach psychology to investigate and intervene and respond to the more general charge of the institution, which was the training. Taking as reference points were established theoretical and methodological psychoanalysis, Gestalt notions of Social Psychology, Constructivism, Behaviorism and Reflexology, the last two great force at the time. Among the psychological items were legitimized the intelligence community, the skills and personality. These objects were covered by the  privilege concerning the community and its transformation was accomplished primarily through psychometric tests and projects,  diagnosis and prognosis in nature.
