Summary:The paper focuses on the GPS height determination, using the RTK surveying method. The work presents an automated procedure of calculating heights above sea level in real-time with the support of a portable computer. The procedure of calculating the local geoidsurface is presented. The obtained height accuracy was estimated. Also, the practical applicability of the GPS levelling method was evaluated.
