For this, we carried out a comparative analysis of the process of creating Carnival floats and modeling, under a ethnomathematics perspective in order to subsequently be formulated arguments and reflections that can be put into practice. The methodological procedures include data collection through narrative interview with carnival - a person who creates allegories for carnival parade. The analysis was carried out through the significance of the data in the light of theory, comparing to the carnival to modeling processes under a ethnomathematics perspective. The result showed that the carnival floats creates models arising from perceptions and surrounding seizures, which, based on the understanding, pierces an external model, meaning and expression set of sub-models represented in drawings, proposals and schemes.
