| Summary: | This paper develops a sociological approach to the study of political leadership. The sociological approach of the leadership is related to the process of social construction. This process is analyzed by the two main concepts of Bourdieu’s “constructivism structuralist”: habitus and field of political leader. These concepts express the objective and subjective dimensions of the phenomenon of leadership. The subjective and objective dimensions are manifested in three interrelated processes: socialization, institutionalization and legitimization of the political practices of the leader. |
