Description
Summary:Homogeneity of a malt batch is one of the most important parameters of malt quality. The analysis of homogeneity by Carlsberg Calcofluor method, in combination with automatic and standardized evaluation, provides a high declaratory capability. Above all, the analysis of filtration risk based on the data gives a high declaratory value in relation to malt processing and further brewing process. The acceptable analysis time (approx. 20 to 30 minutes) as well as the possibility of direct data exchange for the evaluation between the brewery and malting plant are the positive features of the method.Homogeneity of a malt batch is one of the most important parameters of malt quality.
