Summary: | The aim of this study is to examine the missions and visions of technology development areas (technoparks/technopolis) in the context of university-industry cooperation. The web pages of the 52 technology development zones that were active were scanned and the mission and vision expressions of the 34 technology zones that can be accessed online were used as data in this study. The research is in the screening model and the analysis of the mission and vision texts is done by using QSR NVIVO 11 software. The main themes, themes and codes obtained by classifying the expressions of mission and vision according to subject and qualifications are included in the findings of the research. The frequency values of the references and references for the codes forming the theme are shown in the tables. According to the results of the research, it can be said that the technological development regions are aware of their duties at the point of establishing industrial cooperation with the university. The results of the research highlighted the possibility that some of the technology development regions’ vision and missions were taken from another similar establishment. It is also seen that the same issues, which some of the technology development zones have adopted as a mission, are regarded as a vision according to another technology development zone. |
