Summary:The article presents the results of the analysis of clinical symptoms of escherichiosis, which were caused by different serotypes of Escherichia coli in children living in the Zaporizhzhia region in 2010–2016 years. 178 cases of escherichiosis were registered in children aged 1 month to 15 years, among whom 104 (57.14 %) were children under the age of 3 years. Enteroinvasive (serotype O124 and O144) and enteropathogenic E.coli (serotype O18 and O44) were dominated in the structure of the escherichiosis in older children, and in the children of the first 3 years of life, it were enterotoxigenic (O25 and O126, O6) and enterohemorrhagic E.coli (O26 and O11). The disease course was clinically favorable, and no severe and complicated course was recorded.
