We used diary that takes in the surgery department, dealing with monthly systematically and instruments developed accor­ding to current regulatory framework. The data analysis was performed using SPSS-15. Results: canceled: 13.2% of surgeries that were scheduled were the most frequent causes of patient contraindications by 36,1%, followed by extension of the previous surgery in 11,3% and in the same percentage of patient non-attendance.
