Description
Summary:This work considers the problem of the optimal control of a water treatment plant. It examines the existing mathematical models of reverse osmosis membranes and the need for developing own mathematical model of these elements. Moreover, it mentions existing systems of automatic control for reverse osmosis elements. Finally, it presents the results of the comparison between the control efficiency achieved with PID-controllers and using the MPC on the reverse osmosis facility.
