The name “Wrp”: He will enter the ENS; I won’t. The shared “biographical illusion” (our personal histories mingled with History), but for different reasons: I came to communism through Marxism, Wrp came to Marxism through communism, to the History of historians through History “with its big ax” —that personified the two surviving grandmothers from the Second World War.
