The historian’s works is based on primary sources as documents of archives and contemporary documents. For discovering he French voluntaries’ history who have participated in the French military collaboration during the World War II we need to know this sources. A part of these documents guarded in archives take part of the literature also the number of autobiographical books mostly recently published so they can be interesting for the litterateurs too. These works constitute an important corpus for the study of the French military activity in the region of Central and Eastern Europe. This phenomenon was present in the whole area so it had some influence on the relationships between the French soldiers and the local populations. The use of these sources can be useful for everybody interested in this part of the French history and literature.
