Summary:This study attempted to explore teachers' attitudes toward the role of multicultural studies in reducing students prejudice in an ethnically diverse classroom. An interpretive case study approach was applied in the project. The subjects were primary school teachers who had teaching experience in multicultural classrooms. Data were collected by interviews, analyzed by using a thematic analysis and then validated by extracts from the teachers' reflective writing. The findings of this research showed that teachers had positive attitudes toward therole of multicultural studies in reducing students prejudice. Teachers clearly believed in the value of teaching multicultural studies for prejudiced students
