With the development of technologies and free fuel source offering, renewable energy power has been widely used in power system all over the world. On the other hand, because of diversification of generation operating in power system, it becomes more and more important to ensure the security and stability of power system in terms of supply–demand balance with a proper frequency range, to this end, balancing market has been developed in some European countries and regions in order to purchase the balancing power capacity and energy efficiently.
