АстафьеваThe article is devoted to the topical issue of diachronic linguistics. The subject of study is extralinguistic and linguistic factors in development of the fire science in the Russian and English languages. The basis of the research is the comparative historical method. The results of the study are that the author suggests a comparable classification of developmental stages of the Russian and English fire science sublanguages, identifies their primary sources of replenishment and ways of formation between the countries. The results of the study can be regarded as a contribution to the historical linguistics and can be applied as informational support for the university courses in comparative historical terminology.http://journal-s.org/index.php/mrsp/article/view/9994сравнительно-исторический анализтерминологияпирологиялингвистические и экстралингвистические факторы
