The features of professionalization of the activity of a teacher of vocational training are characterized. The possibilities of professional competence as a way of solving the problem of professionalization of the teacher's activity have been determined, criterion characteristics determined, on the one hand, by the level of professionalism of the teacher's personality, on the other hand, themselves act as determinants of efficiency in achieving acme and self-realization.
