RECREATIONAL LEISURE PRACTICES IN THE SPACE OF “THE LIFE-WORLD”

The purpose of the article is to identify the peculiarities of the implementation of recreational leisure practices in the space of “the life-world” and to determine the effectiveness of their mastering. The research methodology is determined by the necessity to apply cultural, microsociological and philosophical approaches to analyze the sphere of leisure and recreation within the framework of “the life-world”. The microsociological approach allows considering interaction (recreational and leisure interaction of individuals) as the basis of “the life-world” integrity. Philosophical approach – the influence of the type and content of recreational and leisure practices on the formation of “the life-world”, human being, and personality as a whole. Thereby, one of the main methodological tasks of cultural studies is to find out the limits of effectiveness of the recreational and leisure practices implementation in the organization of everyday life and the construction of “the life-world”. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the conceptual study of the features of the recreational leisure practices implementation in the space of life and virtual life worlds through a critical analysis of socio-cultural transformations associated with the introduction of information and communications technologies. Conclusions. Therefore, the peculiarity of the implementation of recreational leisure practices in the space of “the life-world” is the ability of the latter to give to the everyday space the content and harmony with the outside world. “Virtual reality” is revealed in everyday communication characterized by “flexible”, expanded possibilities for image construction and ways of self-presentation. At the same time, it is important to remember that leisure when staying for an excessive amount of time in the space of “the virtual life-world” without critical thinking generates dissatisfaction and is turning into a “meaningless”, “dangerous” pastime, hostile to the essence of a man. Leisure time instead of resisting the negative tendencies of the present, on the contrary, gives rise to feelings of melancholy and loneliness as well as self-doubt.
