Summary:This article aims to rethink environmental communication in the light of human/non-human links. Starting from the state of francophone research in the field of environmental communication, it proposes new leads that, based on complex thinking, consist in no longer defining environmental communication simply as a study of anthropocentric environmental discourses and practices, but as a committed research aimed at modifying the links between humans and non-humans.
