Description
Summary:The contributions of institutionalist approaches to organizational communication approaches are studied through a description of organizational forms usually known as think tanks. The institutionalization of think tanks goes partially through their legal existence, by their assertion of rules and their long-lived character and stability. Their organizational forms are so diverse that think tank should be assessed as a label rather than a concept. The institutionalization of think tanks comes from the erection and defense of principles, standards and values that allow think tanks to take part in French political and media landscape. It finally comes from their implicit or explicit recognition by members of the central decision-makers and by journalists.
