Description
Summary:This paper develops a theoretical reinterpretation of Marx’s formulations Productive Work, aiming to better understand the work of teachers in higher education institutions considering the current stage of capitalism. In the context of the emergence of new industries, under the regime of globalization of financial predominance, the multiplication of forms of capital appreciation signals the strategic role of education and creates new mechanisms of exploitation of labor power. This new rationality makes the university constituent part of the service industry to modify the nature of teaching, taking it as part of the value chain and the scientific production of expropriation as an instrument of knowledge worker and its appropriation by capital.
