Its origin is in the radio serials and the film serials of the first decade of the twentieth century. At that time, its main features, which remain today, are defined. We identify its distinctive features. We analyze the phases that crosses this genre and we pay special attention to new forms of advertising and broadcast that use the most popular sitcoms today. |
