Description
Summary:It is proposed that epistemological rigor, inclusive attitude, «reasonable reason», moderate realism and philosophical attitude are elements of Luis Villoro’s philosophy that can be taken as fundamental aspects of an ethical epistemological criterion for a non-ideological education, while promoting critical, ethical and plural thinking, same that can be of great help to rethink the problem of homogeneous and ideological formation, product of modern education inherited and still in force in our time. These elements stand out from the sense that education had for the Mexican philosopher and it is argued that the meaning of education for Villoro is, fundamentally, in accordance with the Aristotelian phrónesis.
