The location of the sphinctozoa in the Nakhodka Reef showed that they are the main frame-building organisms together with algae and crinoids. The Lengwu Reef was formed in three stages, each ended with the development of the reef. A comparative analysis between fossil sponges from the Nakhodka Reef and the Lengwu Reef has revealed a taxonomic affinity of the faunas, which allowed concluding that there is similarity between these sediments in age and depositional environment. The analysis of the layer-by-layer changes in a systematic and quantitative composition of sphinctozoan was conducted, stratigraphic referencing of taxa in the section was implemented.http://www.kscnet.ru/journal/kraesc/article/view/251SphinctozoanSouth PrimoryeLate PermianreefsSoutheast China |
