The article aimed presents reflections about how the small number of literate women who wrote about football, conceived, allowing also reflect about the perpetuating male dominance in this sphere. The methodology used was that of literary studies focused on the analysis of chronic sports, in this case, produced by the writers Lya Luft, Rachel de Queiroz and Clarice Lispector, so we tried to make a relationship between literature and history.
