Summary:This essay presents the relationship between the scientific and the journalistic articles about digital health, using as a methodological basis the mediatization and the mediatic textuality. It was possible to demonstrate the similarity between the products and services studied/disclosed. The hot topics were Internet of Things, apps, wearable devices, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data and robotics. While in the scientific articles are pointed out advantages and disadvantages of technological applications, being more critical, in the specialized media the advantages are more valued.
