It analyzes the relationship between teacher training for the pedagogical use of ICT and the social construction of time. On the one hand, the analysis relates the instrumental rationality to the chronological concept of time, which confirms the objectification of man. On the other hand, it indicates the lap between communicative rationality and the kairological concept of time, considering the contribution of both to the education focused on human emancipation. From this theoretical premise, the article considers about possible referrals in this area: the peda - gogical use of ICT.http://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=71531141010
