They revisit the field imagery production and deepen the analysis of photography as a historical source. At the same time, searching the materiality of the photographs, as mediation (Ciavatta, 2002, 2008, 2009), the particularities of the subjects in context, to produce the story. With this consideration, it is proposed to place the debate beyond the misconception that multi-graded schools are delayed or spaces of "anomaly" in the educational system.
