Summary:All economic systems encourage judicious and fair use of money The overt materialization spurs economic activity (getting and spending)leading to an imbalanced unnecessary expenditure upon luxury items and alike.This paper delineates Islamic perspective of earning and spending in the light of Islamic teachings. Islam gives clear guidelines with categories, limitations and proper heads of expenditures. Further it encourages rational use of money and shuns extravagance. This study is based on the analysis of secondary sources to bring forth Islamic view of spending money.
