As a theoretical and descriptive alternative, it is postulated that the constructions of genitive are metonymic patterns associated with contiguity domains (PEIRSMAN GEERAERTS, 2006), either via transformation between image schemas of contiguous experiences, or through metaphorical mapping between contiguity domains.https://revistas.ufrj.br/index.php/rl/article/view/21413genitivo, posse, metonímia, contiguidade.
