The first coins of the newly established Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes from 1920

The Ministerial Council of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes issued a decree on 23 July 1920 regarding the minting of 5-, 10- and 25-para coins, which were released into circulation in December, the same year. The minting of these coins was entrusted to an Austrian company 'Metallwarenfabrik Arthur Krupp'. Following the orders of the Minister of Finance from 26 January 1932, the 5- and 10-para coins were gradually withdrawn and replaced with 25-para, ½-, 1- and 2-dinar coins from 1925. The replacement lasted until 30 November 1932. The withdrawal of the 25-para coins began on 21 November 1940 and ended on 20 May 1941.
