Description
Summary:As a consequence of the latest scientific findings, stimulating discussions have emerged in the national scientific scene on the use of animals in the area of research and teaching. This field, which has considerably developed at the international stage within Bioethics, is promoting important reflections on the theme. The great value of such a development is that it has lead us to a very important reflection: the one regarding our use of non-human animals and the research for ethically appropriate attitudes in this context. The ethical theories related to animals and scientific findings are the foundations of our vision and they need to be strengthened and implemented.
