| Summary: | The article provides a type of the operating conditions of audiovisual archives, using for this purpose the interpretation of the results obtained in the study of quantitative sampling. The study involved 43 institutions of different nature of dimension since the national and foreign organizations, from of the questions answered by services of communication and of cultural institutions. The analysis of the object of study found a variety of guidelines on the management of information preservation, as featured the typology of records collections of each file. The data collection thus allowed building an overview of the operating model of each organization surveyed in this study.
