Summary:Widely, it recognized that the work of engineers it is essentially to detect, identify, analyze and solve problems. Is in all these activities must be logical and efficient to reach reliable solutions. In this sense, it is necessary to develop logical reasoning, because otherwise their engineering skills are not up to every problem situation. Was carried out an investigation to determine the influence of the development of logical engineering reasoning skills. 87 jobs were found from which were analyzed 21. The results show that engineering students must first develop their logical-interpretative capacity and abstract, to potentiate the logical reasoning they need to be real problem solvers engineers.
