| Summary: | This article is divided in to two main parts: the first aims to familiarize the reader with the circunstances and historiographic characteristics that surround the birth and development of the so-called new historiography about The Triple Alianza&rsquo;s war. In the second a series of proposals are made based on an analysis if the historiography since the 1990s.<br>Este trabalho examina as circunst&acirc;ncias e caracter&iacute;sticas historiogr&aacute;ficas que rodearam o nacionalismo do qual chamamos nova historiografia sobre a guerra da Tr&iacute;plice Alian&ccedil;a. Para isso partimos de uma recapitula&ccedil;&atilde;o das interpreta&ccedil;&otilde;es que dela nos oferecem as diversas constru&ccedil;&otilde;es, desde fins do s&eacute;culo XIX, nos pa&iacute;ses atores do conflito, particularmente no Paraguai. Em um segundo momento se mostram as linhas historiogr&aacute;ficas que est&atilde;o emergindo a partir de 1990. |
