Description
Summary:The article presents a model of stock management of vertically integrated enterprise of holding type consisting of two links of the technological chain. When building the model the cost functions were used and general approaches to their building described. The criterion of searching for optimal strategies of the functioning of the holding stock management system is minimization of aggregate costs. It has been proved that under fairly general conditions, the obtained solutions are optimal for the holding as a whole. The algorithm built in the work is illustrated on the example of a particular enterprise. On the basis of statistical data for three years the cost function has been built and the nature of demand for the holding products analyzed and investigated and a statistical forecast of its likely value in the forecast period carried out. A mathematical model of the enterprise’s stock management has been built and the optimal strategy for the functioning of the stock system found. The obtained optimal solutions determine the overall stock level for the enterprise of holding type as a whole and the stock share for each production individually
