The travel time ratio is defined as a ratio between the travel time at peak hour and the travel time at off-peak hour in a certain road section. Traffic congestion conditions are classified into 4 categories: Peak-hour Congestion, Lengthy Congestion, Momentary Congestion, and Smooth Traffic. Based on survey results on road sections in Palembang, Bandung, Yogyakarta, and Surakarta, it can be concluded that peak-hour congestion occurs when TTR > 1,40 and DS > 0,75, lengthy congestion occurs when TTR < 1,40 and DS > 0,75, momentary congestion occurs when TTR > 1,40 and DS < 0,75, and smooth traffic when TTR < 1,40 and DS < 0,75.https://doi.org/10.1051/matecconf/201818106010 |
