The data collected by the survey of respondents from among students of various fields of training allowed the authors to identify ten main aspects that are necessary for designing a high-quality modern textbook which meets the requirements of the educational standard and is positively accepted by students as a source of reliable knowledge. The authors pay special attention to the personal and professional qualities of a teacher, especially if he is the author of the textbook with which he works.
