Summary: | The dynamic evolution of groundwater level shows remarkable local characteristics. We analyze the data of factors that may influence of the highest groundwater level and the maximum amplitude of groundwater level in each confined aquifer in the land area within the Outer Ring Road of Shanghai City during 2005~2013.We find that the total volume of yearly rainfall, yearly surface runoff, yearly passing-by water in the mainstream of the Yangtze River, and the actual groundwater artificial recharge in the third confined aquifer, have no significant impact. There is a positive correlation between the highest groundwater level of each confined aquifer and the total volume of the passing-by water in the Taihu Lake basin. The volume of actual recharge of groundwater has a strong correlation with the highest groundwater level and the maximum amplitude of groundwater level in the confined aquifers. |
